Epilepsy Foundation of Rochester-Syracuse-Binghamton

Join the Epilepsy Foundation on March 10, 2010 for an preview of GardenScape 2010.   Browse the gardens of Rochester's premier flower and garden show with elegance and style at this exclusive event complete with grazing stations, complementary wine, beer, and cocktails, and entertainment.

Thousands of people will visit GardenScape from March 11 to the 14th.  Marking its 19th year as one of the top flower and garden shows in the country, GardenScape 2010 will feature colorful and innovative displays by some of the nation's most creative landscapers and gardeners.  Beat the crowds by attending A Taste of Spring.

 Tickets are $50 per person and include your entry into the gardens, food, and drinks.  All proceeds from A Taste of Spring benefit the Epilepsy Foundation, GardenScape's charity of choice for the 10th year in a row.  Tickets are available at Wegmans That's the Ticket locations, by calling the Foundation at (585) 442-4430, or at the door.

 GardenScape 2010 runs from March 11 to March 14th.  Tickets for the garden show are available at Wegmans That's the Ticket locations and on the show website. 

Visitors to GardenScape 2010 will be treated to 20 artistically landscaped gardens that combine color, beauty and an almost mystical aura in this 19th annual flower and garden show produced by the GardenScape Professionals Association. They will also enjoy the breathtaking works of Alien Nature, an artistic exhibit of the macrophotography of flowers by New York City artists Roderigo Pedrolli and Michael Murphree.

"The concept for 'Eye of the Garden' is drawn from Trompe l'oeil, an art genre that involves creating realistic images to effect an optical illusion, causing twodimensional illustrations to appear three-dimensional," said GardenScape show manager Sarah Burchell. "Inspiration is also derived from the works of M.C. Esher, Salvador Dali and others.
